10 Tips for Exploring  Big Bend National Park

  1. Give yourself some time! Like a week to see both sides of the park.

  2. Pay $12 for fourteen nights of primitive camping! Make sure you get to a visitor center during business hours.

  3. Go to the Hot Springs!

  4. Head up to Emory Peak!

  5. Listen for the coyotes!

  6. There is free Wi-Fi at the panther visitor center.

  7. Make sure you fuel up before heading onto primitive roads.

  8. Watch for cactus.

  9. If you have a passport go check out Boquillas Del Carmen.

  10. Try to make it to all three canyons: Santa Elena canyon, Mariscal Canyon and Boquillas canyon.
